We hope you are very happy with your order but if you would like to return your item(s) for any reason please read this Returns Policy carefully to ensure your request can be processed as quickly as possible.

To return an item please follow these simple steps:

  1. Submit your Return Request to returns@talkingthings.store including your order reference number, proof of shipment & the reason for the return within 14 days of delivery to you.
  2. You will normally receive an e-mail response within 24 hours and if your item is eligible for a return you will be sent the return shipping address. Unfortunately we cannot refund the price of orders returned to the wrong address, so please ensure you check & secure this carefully to your return.
  3.  Send your product back to the address details we give you, within 14 days of notifying us of your intention to return. Please pack your return items carefully to prevent damage in transit and choose a trusted return shipping method. We recommend you send your product by recorded delivery and retain proof of postage. TalkingThings and our Vendors do not take responsibility for items lost or damaged in return transit and unfortunately if this does occur we will not be able to offer a refund. If you have items from more than one Vendor in your order, you may need to send each item separately to the correct address - which we shall supply to you.
  4. You will receive a confirmatory e-mail when your return has been received in a condition compliant with the conditions below and processed. You will then receive a refund to your original method of payment within 14 days after the items are received by us or by the Vendor, as appropriate. Please ensure that the item(s) are returned in accordance with this policy.

Important:

  • To be eligible for a return, all return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery to you. 
  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, undamaged or (if clothing) unworn, and in the same condition that you received it.
  • All items must be returned to the Vendor in the original packaging received by you. Where provided, any branded packaging such as dust bags, jewellery boxes and all clothing must be returned with all appropriate tags or labels still attached.
  • If you would like to exchange an item, please follow the standard returns procedure and place a new order at talkingthings.store. Unfortunately we are sometimes unable to offer exchanges as many items are individual or in small production runs. 
  • Any returns that are damaged, soiled, not returned in their original condition or returned without their original labels may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
  • We do not accept returns or exchanges on items that have been made to order or personalised for you, including earrings, Gift Cards, some health and personal care items and perishable goods such as chocolate and coffee, or magazines.
  • If you receive an item that is damaged or faulty and you are asked to return it to the vendor then we will refund the cost of the return shipping. If you are returning a product for any other reason then we are unable to cover the cost of return.
  • Please allow 14 days after the item(s) is received by us for your returns request to be processed. If you are eligible for a refund then typically please allow a further 3-5 working days for it to be processed by your payment provider.
