Meet the maker:
Based in Oxfordshire, Jess Sarson works from her garden studio, inspired by the vintage ceramics she collects and by the natural world. Jess enjoys throwing at the wheel and experimenting with shape and form, working in stoneware and porcelain.
Growing up as the daughter of an antiques dealer, Jess's childhood home was crammed with boxes spilling over with auction room treasures. Victorian vases, Art Deco tea sets and mid-century pots - and you can see their influence in her work today. Jess particularly enjoys making functional pieces that have simple and pleasing forms. Her signature style marries clean lines, gentle curves and simple glazing.
