Ritual story:
Altai Parenie Soap Bar was inspired by the Russian Bathhouse ritual - Parenie.
Parenie is an invigorating thermal massage performed in a steam room, which uses leafy and fragrant bundles of birch, oak or eucalyptus twigs (called Venik). The process is quite intense and the idea is to get the steam around you to warm you up so deep that you feel the need to plunge into the chilled water afterward.
Parenie is a great way to release adrenaline and stress hormones and the immense invigoration that follows. It boosts your blood circulation and relieves tension and stress.
